It was a great race, but I still think Ruffian was the greatest filly ever.

Chris Woods Jockey Triple Crown Prediction
Will there be a triple crown winner this year?
Absolutely Not.
The last horse to win the Triple Crown was Affirmed in 1978. In the history of triple crown racing only 11 horses have accomplished the feat. To win the triple crown a horse must win the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes. This is a grueling task for a developing three year old equine. After the surprise win at Kentucky Derby, we will have to wait another year.
